Trak4 - Promo Code Giveaway

Hello touchArcade.

My first game, Trak4 has been available for sale on the App Store for a couple of days now and I thought it would be a good idea to give some Promo codes away here in the forums.

In Trak4, the player is trying to beat the clock in matching the tile pattern on the right to the pattern on the left. Players earn points for the time remaining. If they match the pattern correctly, the player gets another round. If the pattern doesn’t match the game is over. The twist is that the player can only see the entire target pattern for the first few seconds of each round. After that the pattern is cloaked in darkness and the player can only see the portion that appears underneath the moving spotlight. If players get stuck, they can press the “Hint” button to get a quick peek at the target pattern.

I'll give away a code to the first three posters in this thread.

I can't believe this thread hasn't been overrun yet. The game looks pretty interesting.

More Promo Codes

To those of you who have asked......

I will post some more promo codes in this thread (or a new one) at a later time.

Follow www.twitter.com/Trak4Game for announcements on when those codes will be coming.

Now that you've said that I took a look at the video.

And the game looks interesting indeed. Simple gameplay. Well suited for a quick session.

However, by looking the screenshot the game is not attractive at all (no offense, just an honest feedback).

It basically needs a better presentation (interface), a professional design because:

- the style is way too Windows 95 with those beveled boxes
- all elements (progress bar, board, score box) are not aligned with each other (the interface is chaotic)
- Hint and Solve buttons don't look like buttons (they don't even match the Windows 95 style)
- the "Winner" message (see video) is not even aligned to the buttons direction
- used colors are a bit bland

With a good looking and professional design this game can catch a lot more attention for sure.
