Yes, only played a bit so far but liking the battle mechanics (although timing the shield thing exactly right isn't easy). And even though I don't usually get into click and point adventure games, those elements are nicely integrated.

Oh, and despite the description, it also runs perfectly fine on a 3GS.

Haven't played enough to give a full recommendation, but I'm enjoying it so far.

I picked this up back when it was released.... I think I played for about 4 or 5 screens/rooms, and haven't touched it since.

Just out of curiosity, what did you not like about it? It's definately got a different feel than just about any RPG I've played. There is a ton of text and quite a bit of point/click mechanics which I'm not crazy about. But nothing that's turned me away from it. I may end up with a different opinion, but I'm actually curious to see how / if it ramps up in terms of action.

Not too sure... it just didn't hold my attention, and didn't seem to really have anything that made me want to go back to it.

I mean, I'm sure that eventually I'll go back and play through it, with the hopes that the mechanics get deeper and more complex, and same with the puzzles, but I won't be surprised if that's not the case.

I like that it actually states "iPad 1 or newer"!! Maybe I will leave my impressions once I've finished playing.

Well, after putting about an hour into the game, SV might have had the right idea to put this aside. Haven't hit a battle since the tutorial! Slow and chatty. Not sure how much more I will play if it continues at this pace.

The first two scenes made me think this would be fun, but after lot of chatting and after fighting the rather annoying interface for finding clues, I gave up. Boring.

I opened up to this and bought it before even without the RPG-type of character progression since they said this is more an adventure game (point and click-ish type) but with battles.

And just like SV, i played it for about 2 hours, then just never fired up the game again. It didnt click with me and the there was nothing that was pulling me back in
