Default Bicolor (by 1Button)

Hi folks,

We just released a new puzzler called Bicolor!

Full video: https://vimeo.com/93162176

The game features 180 handmade puzzles. All of them are made of only 2 colors (hence the name ^^). All you have to do to solve a puzzle is to empty the screen. Sounds easy? It is not…

If you know us, you may have noticed we love puzzle games. This time we tried to make it as minimalist as possible, with almost no menu and a full screen, colorful UI.

Awesome, another 1Button puzzle game! This looks great

Between ON/OFF, SEQ, PILE, this game, you guys are like my go-to devs for cool minimal puzzle games

Pocket Gamer article

Explains the mechanics nicely
Quote:
Each square has a number that you erase by dragging it over other squares of a different colour.
Importantly, the squares can only move over squares of a different colour.
This means you have to pre-plan the paths you'll take each square on. You win each level by eliminating all of the numbers.

Thanks guys!

@Duke12:
There are 180 levels. We planned to include more levels, but we eventually decided to release them later as a free update. We forgot to update the iTunes description until now, so some posts/reviews contain the same mistake…

This is as great as the other titles by the devs, it's has the 1button feel of it, and while it's different it kind of reminds me of seq. I can't explain the rules so did a vid of the tutorial and the first few levels. If someone could tell me how to embed I'd appreciate it. Can't wait to see how tricky the levels get.

So like 1Button's other games, Bicolor is a minimalist puzzle game centered around a simple idea. Gameplay-wise, the concept is similar to 1Button's SEQ, but far more minimal. Basically each level consists of numbered tiles of two colors and your goal is to clear the board and fill in the screen with a single color. However tiles can only be placed on tiles of the opposite color. So you must not only find the right path that lets you use all numbered tiles, but also essentially draw the paths to allow you to move other tiles.

It's simple and easy to control and the minimal style is great. While I think ON/OFF and SEQ were more challenging, that doesn't mean BiColor is easy. It's tricky and challenging and it's easy to paint yourself into a corner. Thankfully you can undo moves with a swipe so the game doesn't become frustrating

The "undo's", is that were the IAPs come in? It says offers IAP, but the appinfo is...minimalistic as well
