Looks like it's out. Just got the notification.

I got it about 4 days ago on my iPad. It took me until today to notice it ABSOLUTELY DOESN'T* support animated gifs, NOT hooray!


*Except in iMessage. You can also navigate to a gif in Photos and click the new email icon for the popup which will then display the animation.

My only issue with IOS 6 is wifi disconnecting when the iPad is in sleep mode, really annoying.

I haven't saved any from Safari yet, but I got a couple through iMessage and they were animated in the message too.

Actually now I look, they're not animated in Photos, just iMessage. Weird.

IOS 6.1.3 was released over a week ago here is the changelog

iOS 6.1.3:
This update contains improvements and other bug fixes including:
● Fixes a bug that could allow someone to bypass the passcode and access the Phone app
● Improvements to Maps in Japan

and jailbreak is not possible on 6.1.3 for now
