Figure I'll give this a random bump - I blundered into it purely by accident, and was rather impressed with it.
As far as Visual Novels go, it's a "pure" novel - there are no real decisions or branching points in the story, no interactivity other than reading. It's also short (you'll be done within an hour) and only has two characters in the tale.
However, something about it worked. It had decent art and production values, the fact that you viewed the world through each character's eyes at different times was a nice touch, and the story may make you stop and think about how beings can be affected by the passage of time.
So if you've got a spare hour during a weekend, like visual novels and are looking for something new to read, give this a try. Even if it doesn't end up appealing to you personally, the price is right.
