One Word Story is a game in which players create stories by adding one word at a time, alternating turns with other players. Not knowing what word will appear next on their screens, users are stimulated to get creative and keep the story going.

Users of the app have the ability to instantly create stories and play with Facebook friends. The functionality was introduced as part of One Word Story's latest update to Version 1.2. Additional features introduced in the Version 1.2 rollout include redesigned graphics for a more user friendly experience, the ability to add more than one word at a time by purchasing extra words from the in-app store and the option to share stories via Facebook and email.
