Versailles 2: Part 2 & Part 3 (by Microids) -> Free

I can't vouch for these games... they don't seem to have much feedback either but many of the point&click adventure games Microids puts out are pretty well liked so don't kill the messenger. I locked in licenses for both games and will try Part 2 out and if I like it enough I will buy part 1 and start over.

Keep in mind Part 1 is $0.99 and not on sale, Part 2 was $2.99 & 3 was $0.99. None have had price changes since late 2011.

Here are the links:
Versailles 2: Part 1 ($0.99, not on sale but posting anyway):

Versailles 2: Part 2 ($2.99 -> FREE):

Versailles 2: Part 3 ($2.99 -> FREE):

...

Some AppInfo for Part 2:

Saw it but didn't post about it. I dl'ed the ipad versions (look at me, the ipad guy now!) through itunes and then deleted the files, so they will still be available if I want to dl OTA on my ipad or dl 'em back to my PC later.

Well I locked in the license on both of them but let the download on the first one run so I could give it a try. Probably going to play it some at lunch.

Oh, the sheer terror, usually I want all people to join us ipad and hdmi users.

But in your case, heck no!!!! Haha J/K

Wow these apps are huge, usually I don't like point and click games, so as Night says, I will kindly lock in the license! Hehe

Curious about other TA members' experiences...

Am I the only one who feels like I've been dropped into the middle of a HUGE story with absolutely NO idea wth is going on?

Started part 2, I've got multiple items in my inventory, I'm immediately thrust into a very wordy conversation with two dudes who both seem VERY intent on getting the answers they need from me... aaaand GO!

I'm thinking I might need to pick up Part 1 at some point and start there...

DBC

I could never give up.

The game is not a copycat portage of the PC version but an adaptation for touch screens and mobile platforms.
Bear in mind that when Microids uses this phrase, it means you're looking at an abridged version for iOS with 30-50% of the story and puzzles removed, so if it seems like the story doesn't make sense, jumps around, or has pieces/puzzles missing, that's why. Pretty much all of their multi-part games suffer from this issue.

I downloaded both. I honestly cant say much about the gameplay since I stopped playing in under 2 minutes because my eyes were burning with pixelated, very low res graphics.

Really wanted to download these. Don't mind paying for part I to complete the game, but these downloads are huge.
