Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate announced

A tie in to the upcoming Batman: Arkham Origins has a mobile counterpart - Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate.

"Warner Bros. also announced a mobile game to correspond with the launch of "Origins" titled "Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate." Like its console counterpart, "Origins" is being sent to a new studio — this one being Armature Studio, a small team that previously adapted part of the "Metal Gear Solid" series to the Vita for its HD re-release. "Blackgate" will appear simultaneously on the Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita on October 25, Warner Bros. said."

Unfortunately I have very serious doubts we'll get Blackgate on iOS (not much profit in releasing a game which would probably be substantially cheaper on one platform than it would be in its two other supported devices). I'm sure a tie-in of some sort is coming (as a matter of fact, back on the X-Com thread, clever_bug laid out his deductions regarding an Injustice iOS game - check - and an Arkham tie-in). It's too bad too, since Blackgate looks great as a 2,5D sidescroller...
