If this is anywhere near as good as the PC version, BUY IT NOW. Shmup fans will be impressed.

Yes, but only briefly so far. It's...not bad. The core gameplay at least seems like fun and well put together, but I am having a real issue with the frame rate which is below 60 FPS, and the sound effects which sound particularly puny and unimpressive. Graphical effects such as explosions are likewise pretty underwhelming.

Doesn't look quite as good as the PC version (things like lasers and explosions are lacking the big distortion effects), but still very smooth on iPad 3.

No IAP that I can find.

If anyone remembers Astro Tripper, combat is a lot like that.

Music is good.

Points are awarded for kills as well bonuses for various achievements (ex, clearing a group with a laser).

Fights against larger battleships get pretty intense.

Game Center leaderboards and achievements.

I just bought it. I'll take this chance for a whole dollar. Thanks for the impressions, everyone.

I don't see it in the US store, even though AnarKitty bought any other link?

Just clicked the link again, and no dice. Maybe this was released early by mistake, or pulled? Glad I grabbed it.

Wondering too... Since strive brought up Astro Tripper, I've GOT to check this out.
