Perhaps at this point you or the other early release promo code people could post more detailed impressions?

Hey guys, thanks for the thread! As those who know us know, we'll probably be glued to this thread 24/7 for the next few days, so be sure to post any questions, concerns, bug reports, suggestions, etc!

And as others have already said, yes it has single player campaign (an Endless mode is unlocked once you beat the 30 stage campaign), and yes there is co-op multiplayer. And yes it can run on any device 3GS/ipod touch 3g and up... and by run I actually mean it can run

We're also very far along in a HUGE update (I know, the game has just released ), with a competitive, 1v1 versus mode (Good vs Evil/Attack vs Defend), a single player siege mode (attack the castle as the Evil side!), new heroes, and alternate skins for each current hero!

Looks pretty cool button only concern is that I've bought the other forsaken media games then they have all gone free so I'm not sure if I should pic this up right away or wait.
Ill wait for some impression first but it looks too cool to wait

Instead of supporting the efforts of a talented iOS developer by contributing $2 you should just wait to reap the benefits without contributing anything the encouraging quality iOS games...

One reason why I never mind of Foursaken games go free is frankly cuz their price usually starts really low to begin with. I think they shoot for volume rather than higher price in order to reap profit.

Regardless, this looks and feels like a Dungeon Defenders done right for ios. Not so complicated that it gums up the gui with a gajillion buttons. Simple enough to be a nice pick up and play, but complicated enough to have deep tower defense elements, character progression, and all that jazz.

Deffinately Insta-buy, ASAP.

I can't promise it won't ever go free, but I can promise it won't for at least a few months. We encourage everyone to weigh that decision with every game in the App Store... if you think Heroes & Castles is something you don't want to wait a few months for and looks worth $2, we'd love the support If not, no problem!

I think its got quite a different feel to it than DD actually In H&C you rely much more on unit building and armies, and of course the perspective is a lot different But if you love that type of genre mashup, then you will love H&C I hope.
