Yeah the more i watch the video i wouldnt mind getting it, 'might' give it a chance despite my hatred for those controls. But like you say its like a virtual boy/old handheld game/vectrex-ish type game.
Might TOFTT tomorrow if no one has snapped this up by then |

Was ready to go for it. Again, a sucker for vector games but don't like tilt controls. Damn!

The vector graphics are very appealing to me, there does not seem to be enough variety for five dollars. I may have to hold off on this one. On the other hand, if they add an Arc Squadron control scheme, I may reconsider.

Dang this looks neat. Only gripe is that I wish they'd not draw polys that aren't visible.
If I had $5 in the account, I'd probably pick this up.

Bought it and just had a quick go at my son's tennis class so had to play without sound. It's not bad. If anyone remembers the original Star Wars arcade game when you go inside the death star it's a bit like that. Alot of the bad guys come from behind and when you shoot them down they just turn into a sort of blood red splatter instead of the very satisfying break of vectors a la Star Wars. Only two levels in and the tilt controls aren't bad but this could do with Verticus or Arc Squadron Controls. I think Verticus ones would be cool. Probably not worth the price it's at (in comparison to other games which offer more polish) but I'll spend a bit more time with it later and see how it plays before tonight's releases. This could be really good with a bit more tlc.

Damn... Right now, I've only got an iPad... So tilt only is sort of a deal breaker ATM...
Does it play like virtual controls would make it better? I know that sounds stupid, because the answer is almost always yes... But it could just be a game that feels right with tilt... Like Tilt To Live, Dark Nebula, Space Tripper, ect... **sorry, not to dis you slam... Just hoping to hear more than one impression on the subject of the controls... Sorry... Just curious. |

Just played again with sound and tilt on the phone is actually okay. Would seriously need other controls i think for ipad as half walls come your way and it's a pretty rapid tilt needed to bring your ship to the vertical to avoid them. Hope there's a bit of variety later on but another control mechanism would promote this to my iPad.
