An Unreal Engine 3-powered iOS game by Mythic Games coming soon (expected in Q1 2014).

Nightmare : Into Darkness is an atmospheric horror for IOS devices developed with the UDK (Unreal Development Kit). Currently there is no set release date.

Developed using the powerful UDK (unreal engine 3)

Nighmare is expected to release on PC, Mac, And IOS.

Nightmare : Among Shadows (PC / Mac)
Nightmare : Into Darkness (IOS)

Gameplay Features:

- Moveable objects (lights / Lantern / boxes)
- Randomly generated content (Music / Voice acting / Scares)
- Puzzle systems
- Choice systems
- Heavy narrative spanning across multiple characters

I see. So, the video is from the iOS game, not the PC/Mac game.

However, it is noted that the video was posted on Dec 9, 2012. From what I know, at that time, the game was called Nightmare: Among Shadows for both PC, Mac and iOS. In Feb or Mar 2013 (I don't remember exactly), Mythic Games split it into two separated games, Nightmare: Among Shadows for PC/Mac and Nightmare: Into Darkness for iOS.

As such, the video you see is actually from the iOS game at that time, Nightmare: Among Shadows. The current iOS game, Nightmare: Into Darkness is a little different game which only has one screenshot being released (above).

I am currently working on Nightmare : Among Shadows for PC and Mac

Into Darkness will be released shortly after and will be a bit different than among shadows though taking place in the same universe.

Really cool to see it made it onto here by chance.

I am also the gameplay programmer for another game on here Surreal System.

Though there is no set date for into darkness you can expect it early next year!
