Majaya (iPad) ->Free (not yet)
I don't thibk this is free yet. I haven't played it; having said that, it looks interesting. Is it crap? We'll all find out later I guess. It's either free now or probably not until tonight.
All my Google-Fu could find was a New Zealand store link.

Oh yeah, that's very true. I love claymation. Mary and Max is one of my facorite films of the past decade. Well, it's probably in my all time top list.

Fantastic little "labyrinth" type puzzler. Great claymation visuals and amusing sound effects. Love it!

Well, I'm happy I didn't post a sinker
EDIT: Stinker. Damn my clumsy fingers. One of these days I'm going to post something without spelling errors.

I think you're incapable of posting "sinkers..." or stinkers for that matter.

Believe me, I've posted total crap on this board before. At least they were unknown crap though
I plumb the darkest recesses of the app store so you don't have to
Speaking of dark recesses, soneone should make a roguelike game based on the appstore. The village or top floor would be the Hall of Fame; the deepest level either "catalogs" or "top grossing".

And we appreciate it!
Though I don't understand how/why some of these games come out with little or NO marketing behind them.. Case in point, I had never even remotely heard of Majaya before your post. And it's an ingenious little game!
What's the point of releasing on the App Store if not to sell? If you are going to invest in a game's development, do you not think it worthwhile to include advertising in your budget? And I doubt I'm simply just 'missing' the ads or reviews for these titles... I also scour the web for iOS releases, and have done so since the App Store's launch. So strange.
