Why won't Valve port Counterstrike to iOS? They have it on 360 and PS3...

Because iOS devices can't handle the graphics, textures, mechanics, etc. that would have to be ported if Valve were to do that.

Ummm...have you played any Madfinger, Gameloft, Chair or Firemonkey game?

I think the reason why we won't/don't see an CS port is more due to the fact that the genre is already being monopolized by Gameloft - would a game with terrible graphics and no snazzy classes/perks/equipment really captivate the average appstore consumer like MC has? I don't really know...

Plus why would Valve want to bother with the mobile arena?

Yup, it is. Copyright, intellectual property, brand name, the whole shebang.
I'm waiting to see when it gets pulled at this stage.
I didn't think it would take so long.
Makes me concerned about approval process even more.
