Speed Kills new racing/action game (Unreal Engine)

Speed Kills draws inspiration from 90’s classics, where players must use weapons, power-ups, and superior driving skills to best their opponents. Traditional action-packed racing as we all like it. Old school stuff, powered by Unreal Development Kit.

Players compete in various championships, ranging from bootleg rallies on the outskirts of the galaxy to big-league circuits set against the goliath skylines of metropolis cityscapes. Players can purchase offensive and defensive vehicle upgrades, buy new cars, collect power-ups and earn bonuses.

FEATURES:
• Classic gameplay, influenced by the isometric racing from the 16-bit era.
• 5 planets/championships to compete.
• 8 fully customizable and upgradable vehicles, ranging from beefed-up pickup trucks to futuristic hover cars.
• Over 50 unique courses.

More well by soon!

Consider me very, very intrigued.

Though...i felt the same uncomfortable rumble in my belly jungle
which i always had with the brillant Death Ralley from Remedy.
Still a bit too zoomed in for my taste.
Well, i don't know what stage this game's in and what changes you
are up to, but, i guess we will see it in late Q1 next year ?

I loved Rock N Roll Racing, so each RnRR-inspired game for me is instabuy.

It's out: I struggled with the controls here. Death Rally was much smoother. I deleted after one race (it's too easy to do that now - too many games on the market).

Edit: I tended to oversteer and the walls stick to you if you graze them.

Yeah i was looking forward to this, glad it was out, downloaded it asap but played a few races and wasnt keen on the handling. Plus as its 'free' i hated seeing the 'buy' message in the corner.

Has potential but the controls and freemium model ruined it for me. If this was actually say 2.99 i would have probably perservered, but in this case it being free made me want to delete it shortly afterwards

Sometimes freemium has its bad moments, if you pay a few dollars for a game you tend to keep playing it despite any issues as you want to give the game you just bought a fair try.

Not a fan of freemium at all, specially with a racer.
