Well, this came out of nowhere. Didn't see any announcements of this releasing today.

first impressions: very nice and challenging game, awesome theme and gfx!
controls better on phone (well ok... it's tilt), but it's also quite responsive on the pad... visibility is also quite better on ipad (retina looks superb!)... buttons should be probably a bit further up on the pad (best would be of course customizable positions) filesize is just tiny for the given amount of objects/textures... just 84mb on NiP! IAPs are there but seems pretty optional (items and quick unlocks) actually i'm not a big fan of runners, but i think, i'm going to stick with it... the great visuals are a pretty good motivation for seeing "more" ;) edit: button controls are just fine on the pad... you can press anywhere around the indicated positions (up and down) Last edited by Janni; 09-09-2012 at 04:53 AM.. |

I noticed this while randomly going through the games->newest releases on the IPhone AppStore (you discover things before iTunes on a Pc gets updated and before the apptrackers discover them) at, like, 2 in the morning. Yeah...I know I got problems.
I was going to start a thread but forgot to. The graphics seem skewed a bit, as if the perspective is a bit off. What caught my eye though was the bosses or enemies. Whatever that Pyramid Head looking thing is. Seems to have an interesting art style. Reminds me of the graphic style of a Playstation One game called Nightmare Creatures. |

Ok, I just watched the video. Now THIS looks like a SERIOUS endless (?) runner! When Exact-Psience wakes up, he's going to spoil himself.
I might just buy this, caution be damned. That boss, the one that transforms from the building with the Greek colonnades, is one of the raddest (in a slightly disturbing way) enemies I've seen in a long time. Especially in an iOS game. |
