The game isnt universal, it was in Canada 2 weeks ago, so 100's of other countries still couldnt download it

It 'does' seem to be out now worldwide

Just found it on the uk store but it took a bit of searching, was not in the top results for gun bros it seems.

I loved the first game and had weeks of fun from it so I will give this one a shot.

Sorry for another follow up reply but there is no official released thread yet?

Anyway been playing this on and off today and it's a great improvement over the original, you get missions from the start instead of an update 6 months down the road and the way you find loot is better then outright spending real cash and buying the best defense gear early game, you can still buy strong weapons but most things are behind a leveling up system.

So far so good, it's a big upgrade from the original and looks real nice, everything is 3D now instead of textured levels.

To note I have not played any other glu freemium games, this is most likely using the same 3d engine as another one of their games like this.

I played this from the Canadian release, and i liked it, especially the tanks part. But im not sure how far we can get into the game without IAPs.

What search did you use to eventually find GB2? I'm trying variants of Glu and Gun Bros and coming up with nothing on the US store.

I dont think it's out worldwide yet. Just Canada for now.

Since you now find loot via missions and only have to buy weapons now you will be replaying older levels to find full kits of gear, you can spend war bucks on boxes but they are really expensive and only give one item each, playing the same area about 10 times last night got me about8 new parts and a ton of explodium, it's far better then the original.

You can spend a few war bucks on weapon upgrades which give the ability to damage certan colour shields quicker and to raise base damage, otherwise there isn't much else.
