Tips, and games for long trips

For long trips the most important thing is making the battery last for as long as possible, playing games that don't burn the battery and adjusting your setting to the most battery efficient way. I know there are other threads similar to this one, but I want to make this one to have everything from tips to apps to games.

I will be updating the first thread with the suggestions from everyone. I hope this becomes a successful thread, any small or stupid tip helps!

First, Battery saving tips for Iphone and Ipod Touch:

-In Settings, Turn off the Wi-Fi and Turn off "Ask to join networks".
-In Settings, Turn off push notifications.
-In Settings, Turn off auto-brightness, and lower brightness to the lowest level.
-In Settings, Turn off Location Services and Bluetooth.
-In Settings, Turn off "shake to suffle" and "sound check"
-In Video Settings, Start playing movies from the beggining.
-Turn off mail notifications
-Turn on Airplane mode (only for iphone)
-Turn off EQ in music settings
-Turn off 3G (only in iphone 3G/3G[s])
-Create Playlists instead of shuffling a thousand songs.
-Download MemoryInfo with Free Memory and Battery Level
-"Screen Lock: Use a short 'Auto Lock' time. Turn the screen off whenever it's not in use by a quick press of the power button." -(ipodtouchfans.com)

Great tips Pablo! I'll be picking up some of those games. Maybe you could add a bit about portable chargers like this Energizer one or this Black & Decker battery pack.

I've found the Real Racing, Zen Bound, and F.A.S.T don't touch the battery at all.

What about Cube Runner, Labyrinth, Adrenaline, JOTB, Binary Game,Tunnel, Scoops, Flight Control, Harbor Master, Eliss (?), and Words Worth, most of those are easy both graphics and gameplay wise.
