Playing on and off since earlier and it is quite fun. Trying to navigate and establish a strategy but I like how the game evolves and reveals itself as you go along. Very fun!

Rest assured there is a purpose behind everything, and all will be revealed in due time. After all, exploration and discovery are also integral to preserving the human experience.

If all else fails, Utopia Corp. will provide supplementary assistive material on these message boards from time to time.

Dear mr lambdu, I recently arrived from the system XYZ and wish to trade some knowledge with you on starship technology.

Before we discuss further matters, what was the splicing gene pool that created you? We need more information citizens and you seem to be the model specimen.
Greetings! Thank you for your interest in the inner workings of Utopia Corp. For the sake of our new planet's security, some matters regarding protogenesis unfortunately remain confidential at this time. We thank you for your understanding.

All Pixel People are created equal, from the very same stock in fact. Hence each one is a model citizen and will contribute positively to its town.

We will be releasing a small pamphlet to explain the basics of Splicing, should there still be any confusion.

Be careful with all the splicing, we don't want another Rapture fiasco.

Splicing Basics:

It's as easy as taking DNA samples and running them through a blender!

Enjoy!

Just avoid using Objectivist gene samples then.

Can someone confirm that this is hard on the battery? Seems like my battery went down awfully fast today while playing. I tried to think of anything else I might have done differently and this was the only thing. It took the place of a couple of other games that I would have been playing during the same chunks of time during my day so it should have had similar battery results.

I am really liking the discovery aspects of this. And there is a big element of strategy as well - do I make new people or the same to fill up jobs, etc. You get a fair amount of bonuses too and at this point of time feel I am far from a paywall. I have had generous bonuses too throughout so I earned a significant amount of coins and have yet to use the crystal stuff. This is definitely freemium done correctly.

Lol - do you know as soon as I saw a clip of this game playing I thought of Rapture and Bioshock - before I even saw the reference to splicing! Not sure why that is, but a pixel-art Bioshock-inspired city building game would be awesome.

By the way, do you get to name your city or is it always Utopia?
