Hmm, I know it's football on an iOS device, but this really doesn't look any different than last years version with the exception of the roster update I'm sure.

Graphics look a lot better on the iPad screenshots. I just hope they made the Season Mode a little more in-depth with salary caps, realistic trades, injuries, etc..more simulation in general. Oh yeah...CREATE A PLAYER *looking at you, Devs*!!! Regardless, this will be an insta-buy for me as a huge NFL fan. Will post iPad 2 Impressions as soon as I can(8pm PST).

EDIT: Would it kill them to implement a FRANCHISE MODE???

EA is stubborn in terms of the amount of packaging/polish/presentation/production value that they are willing to supply at iOS prices, meaning 4.99 or 6.99. They seem to do well in terms of the amount of content they offer, but they are clearly taking shortcuts in the development process in order to sell these games cheap.

In short, it probably would kill them. EA is not producing a 3DS Madden. I don't know about NDS. I believe they might be pumping out another PSP Madden. but I'm not sure. There's not a lot going on with the Madden franchise in terms of handhelds this year. Conceiveably, they could put a little more effort into the mobile version this time. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for that to happen though.
