[PREVIEW] (Stick Fighter) Now Stick-Fu

Stick-Fu

Youtube link | Pop Up

Prepare for stick-thin enemies to burst from all directions and attack you in this side-scrolling beat-'em-up.
Your brave stick-fighter character is not defenseless though - punch and kick enemies to defeat them and build Combo Points.
Then use these points to unleash devastating attacks on your enemies.
At the end of each level your stick-fighter will face a fearsome StickBoss enemy - real skill is needed to defeat such strong, fast foes!
After each level, you can choose which of your stick-fighter's stats to boost: Power, Defense or Hit Points.
There are multiple levels across five unique environments to battle through.
You can listen to in-game music tracks, or choose tunes from your music library instead.
Then when your brave stick-fighter finally meets his end, see your achievement on the Online Leaderboard!

Features:
- Colorful graphics
- Character leveling RPG system
- 5 environmental zones to fight on
- Customize player and blood color
- 4 music tracks and many sounds
- Over 10 simple combo moves
- 5 super combo moves
- Finishing moves
- Listen your iPod music while playing
- Online leaderboard

Let's rock!

Eh, not really laggy, but reeeeeeally slow. Doesn't look to have a high score system like how many other stick men can you take out. Don't think I'll be picking this one up :P

It's kinda like Sparta and Zombieville, except with stick figures.

The game will be faster, its video capture a bit slower.
Also a scoring system with online leaderboard will be implemented.

It looks cool but the single hit button is confusing me as to how they are getting so many different moves and combos.

I'm just wondering if it will run into any trouble since the player character is white and all the enemy stick dudes are black...unfortunately, some people may be really sensitive to that kind of stuff...

It will be like you have 1st levels combos with 1 hit, 2nd level combos with 2 hits and etc.
When you press the hit it will start doing the 1st combo, then if you hit the "Hit button" again during the last second of 1st combo if will chain start the 2nd combo and etc.
It is like rhytm hitting the button to proceed wth combos.
Every consecutive combo is more cool.

Yup, we gotta add an option to colorize the character in any way.

or maybe give players a customization option like choosing a hat or hairstyle or headband just so they can be graphically different from all the enemy sticks
