Actually having worked on the pre-production and production process of quite a few films, I wouldn't doubt that Fox got huge tax breaks for shooting in another country. Hiring locals for crew and cast would even up those incentives. However, they did most (if not all) of their shooting in Hungary, where they made it to look Russian. Most Americans wouldn't know the difference.

Default Game Impressions

Im to my surprise having tons of fun with this. It feels like Subway Surfers meet Time Crisis. Lots of objectives, great mechanics, the IAP is never pressing. So far I am level 5 or 6 and have upgraded lots with the in-game currency. Only restarting at check points seem to need the premium coins and you earn those by levelling as well.

Good game and a lot of fun.

And it baffles my mind that they didn't get John in there as an unlockable character. I can see them charging $4.99 for him as an IAP just like Ghostbusters did, and people would've made the purchase. Should've been a free download though.

Do you eventually start at a different level, or does the background always pretty much look like the video that was posted?

Aaaaand there's an update out already. More fix than content though. At least we know that this may get a bit more attention from Goroid.

By the way... this is the MOST generous game in terms of gaining in-game currency. Equip those +rubles gadgets... and they stack.

I mean in the endless runner way...

Right next to Infinite Warrior, TheEndApp and Last Knight.

How is this game compared to ShaqDown? That's my current endless runner addiction.

Shaqdown I did play a lot but ended up being deleted. The enemies were uninspiring, the gameplay isnt as engrossing, and the up-down lanes werent as good as i hoped they'd be.

Die Hard is a mixed bag of goods and bads too. For one, it doesnt feel like an endless runner, but more of a non-stop, forward-moving on-rails shooter. What i love about this game is the amount of upgradables and TONS of objectives, reminiscent of Goroid's fantastic TheEndApp.
