Yeah, I hate to admit I've become one of "those guys", but no iPad or Universal version = no buy. :/

I would love this to be 'the one' i've been searching for, seen too many similar games like this with too many buttons which simply dont play well. I hope this one will be different.

In the app description it mentions an email address for a promo code so i've asked them (i'm away in a bit for a few days though).

Hope this plays as i hope it could

Honestly, there's nothing wrong with that line of thinking. People who don't own an iPad don't understand or overlook the fact that though some games can be played "okay" into 2X zoom, a good amount of games that are iPhone specific don't have a button layout that translates well when played on an iPad; leading to uncomfortable gameplay experiences. I know for me personally it is not JUST the washed out looks of most iPhone games on iPad, but also the issue of GUI layout and control comfort.

Personally, I hold a bigger issue with games that claim to be universal but that have their GUI designed solely for iPhone which I think is a big problem with some developers. I find this to be more prevalent an issue, with games that say "universal" but really only take considerations for the small screen and not having a seperate GUI size and layout for the big screens.

As for this game, I am with you. I would definitely drop money on this if it were it universal, but I know that if I buy this version, those buttons laid out like that will not translate well to a comfortable iPad play experience. Too bad to, because this looks potentially good!

This raises a number of red flags for me at face value. Just saying. It could well be just fine, but I wouldn't be jumping on it to take a chance.

I'm with Gabrien on this one. Might be fine, but red flags abound.
