I hate seeing a dev giving away their game for free and not getting any feedback so I downloaded it to do just that... I gotta say I'm glad I did.
This game is charming and a lot of fun! Haven't gotten too high a score yet but it's very nice to control, feels just perfect. And I'm playing in 2x on iPad, which usually sucks for tilting games that are made for iPhone. And it looks pretty great blown up to size, too.
I'm confident a lot of people here would like this a lot if they gave it a shot. Anyone into endless flyers/ avoidance games/ games that nail controls need to try it out. I especially like that the 'bad' power ups give you a score bonus if you survive their effects, neat little risk/reward choice thrown into the mix.
As for suggestions, I only have a couple because I really need to play some more but I just wanted to come and tell people it's worth checking out based on my first few runs. So anyway here they are - 1) the edge of the play area should scroll. It's weird to have this static border you can't touch while everything else is moving. Also it would be cool if you could make it to where you have to kind of 'grind' the cloud border or run into for longer before it kills you. sometimes i BARELY touch the border for a split second and its game over. 2) Some more animation, especially for the enemies/clouds.. Maybe make their eyes follow the character and have a few frames of animation for their outlines and mouths... Maybe some nice varied scrolling backgrounds, or birds and things to pass by the screen.. 3) make it universal!
Good luck getting more downloads, I'm gonna go play some more
