VERTIGO - Real Jenga and multiplayer too!

Hey, Folks,

Underworld Entertainment, the company set up by ex-SEGA Head of Game Design, Col Rodgers has released it's first game on iPhone/iPod touch.

The game, VERTIGO is based on the classic brick stacking games like Jenga, and not only has excellent game mechanics (specifically designed to be as good as possible using all the features of the iPhone's touch-screen), but also has 3 single player modes and up to 4 player multiplayer.

A game to enjoy with friends - check it out here:

Hope you all enjoy it - look out for other big releases in the coming months from Underworld!

Cheers,

SB

Nice! Ambitious attempt here. Interface could use a little cleanup but overall this looks like a pretty fun adaption of Jenga.

It's not online multiplayer though, right?

I did start a thread earlier on this game http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=18281

But as only 1 reply and this is the official thread from the devs then the mods can close my earlier one if they like

Here's a video of the gameplay tho that i posted on before mentioned thread for those interested

Thanks for the feedback, folks!

The game isn't online multiplayer, but we chose that route as it's a turn-based game, and didn't really justify online. If you'd like to give us feedback on the game, we're interested to hear it! Please use the email address on the iTunes page - we read everything that comes in!

Hope you all enjoy the game as much as we enjoyed making it!

p.s. probably worth mentioning that Vertigo works with OS 2.0 and onward - for those of you who didn't want to upgrade just yet... ;-)

No online? I'll pass, then, I guess. If it's just local multiplayer, I might as well just play the real Jenga.

Can you play the real jenga in a car, plane, couch, bed, etc? or with zero setup and cleanup time?

Though I do agree, online multiplayer would certainly be awesome
