Captain Antarctica + HD version $0.99 --> FREE!

The iPad (HD) version is free too! Link to iPad version:

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/id512922745

Edit: As for the discussion of going "freemium", it's been confirmed on Twitter that this is NOT happening: "Nope [not switching to freemium], nothing changed from the full version. all content is accessible FREE (FOR A LIMITED TIME)".

Quoting from their twitter
( We're switching one of our premium games to #FREE for the first time, today. Stay tuned. Its initials are CA. )

the word '' Switching'' so the game will go freemium ?

Oh-oh. TA has to change the ads on the Toucharcade app for this game now

But it's a very fun game, recommended.

I wondered about that as well, given that English isn't their native tongue. I'm hoping they'll make it clear when they actually do the switch, but I honestly thought Captain Antarctica was pay-freemium from the beginning (that is, while it cost 99 cents you can pay to progress), so wonder why it wasn't just freemium (or what I think should be more accurately termed "free download but pay to play") from the beginning?

I haven't played the game a lot to be honest so I can't say anything about the IAP's but if it's going freemium prepare yourself for an update that might change the IAP's and make them worse.

About "freemium", they had this to say on Twitter: "Captain Antarctica will be #FREE for a limited time." So it doesn't sound like it's going freemium; sounds more like it's just a temporary price drop in price to spur future sales.

It has been confirmed that the iPad (HD) version will be free too, staring in about an hour.

When the endless modes were added, this became so much more than what Super Mole Escape was for me.

A lot of us TA members loved SME, so this is definitely highly recommended.
