Hunters: Ep 1 Paid Free limited time

The hugely popular Hunters series continues to thrive on the AppStore with episode two. I have never personally tried either of the games, despite all the raving reviews. Now that it's free, I'm going to give it a try, I thought you guys might like to as well (if you haven't already). Anyway... Enjoy.

That's so weird that its free again today. I seriously just redownloaded this a few hours ago. I was craving a squad based game. Any other recommendations would be nice too.

Almost went to bed before I saw this. Should be good for some anticipated downtime from my job.

Hunters 1 and 2 are very different games. The first is sort of free-form with randomized missions, sans story. The second installment has a narrative.

Does that make it any less worth it? I wonder why they decided to change it, after the success of the first. I'm enjoying this one so far. Squad strategy games aren't my favorite, but as far as they go, this one is solid.

They didn't change much of anything, they simply added the campaign while keeping the "endless" series of daily quick fire missions.

You should treat H1 like a demo for H2 as everything good about H1 is replicated in H2 with the addition of a bunch of stuff including the campaign, new weapon types, better upgrade mechanics, etc.. And a lot of the exploits and bugs present in H1 are fixed.

I'm not even sure why H1 just isn't free all the time with an introduction that says, "Like H1, you're going to LOVE H2!" as there would be no reason to pay for H1 with H2 in existence.
