Well I'm loving this. Controls work well

For youngsters/newbies be warned this is proper old skool. No 3d graphics cards in these early years of PC gaming. Still a very nice action platformer which has a lot of content

Do we have to pretend this is some sort of "classic" now, or that anyone gave a damn about Duke Nukem before "3D?"

Great port. The game's definitely showing its age, but what do you expect? Interceptor Entertainment have done an admirable job bringing this to iOS, and I think anyone who enjoyed the "old school" (pre-3D) Dukes will love playing this on iOS. While the in-game graphics (on iPad...not sure about iPhone) aren't retina enabled, everything else is and it just looks like Interceptor had fun bringing this over. There's an in-depth help screen, old school saving system, customizable controls (with a choice of D-pad or stick), the controls I'd say are on par with those of the Metal Slug series on iOS and everything just...clicks. $2 well spent.

Well its definately one of those 'you had to be there' type games, i remember playing this on my old PC many many years ago, thought it was good, but of course when the FPS game came out this then looked even old back then.

Back in the early 90's if you told me i could have this game in the palm of my hands for a few quid i would be over the moon, so i must admit i'm happy with this.
