Probably so they can charge more then a buck for the iPad version. It seems like a reasonable approach. The video for this game looks to be quite appealing, even though the graphics seem a bit kid oriented. If the reviews are positive, I will buy it.

The silly thing with these separate releases is the fact that we have separate threads for each of them. There are a few impressions in the iPhone version's thread now. If you're too lazy to check though: Bloody good game. Get it. kthnxbai

Hahah. Oh Casket.

I assume it's like Cut, portrait only? If so, I wonder if the iPhone version would be better? Playing slayin is way easier on the iPhone because of that, as are many games.

The price dropped by a dollar which was enough to get me to buy it. I have played through the entire first set of levels now and enjoyed it quite a bit. The challenge level was only moderate, but the mechanics are very good and the presentation is excellent.

I have to admit, this has me perilously tempted. Thanks for the impressions.

I am well into the second set of levels and they get more intricate and at times much more challenging as well. Some new mechanics get introduced and it is a nice progression. They have done a good job here.

This is actually very good, while not a totally new concept it's done in a way that's fresh

Exactly. Nothing new, but extremely well done. The level design ranges from good to great. Some of the levels have multiple pathways. The presentation is top notch and charming. I am almost done with the included content and will gladly fork over a dollar for the extra level set and any future ones. I rate the game 5 stars. If Badland was not so special, Mittens would be my game of the week.
