Our glorious King has passed a new law, specifically stating that 'The King's castle must at all times be at least 42% grander, cooler and shinier than those of his enemies.' Build an awesome fortress, stuff it with soldiers, catapults and whatnot, and lead your army into battle in devious turn-based combat!

All Glory to the Pixel King! is a single-player game, supported by the creativity of it's players worldwide. Each of the computer controlled fortresses you invade is that of another player.

Defeat opponents to unlock new unit types, and raid treasure chests to equip them with legendary weapons, armour and mounts. Try and unlock them all!

Hi, you seemed to be lost on the Internets.
This is TouchArcade, where 2$ for a game is too much, 5$ is an outrage, and 10$ or more is putting sugar in their car tanks whilst killing puppies.

The point where retro graphics slowly but inevitably start to evolve from a stylistic choice into an excuse not to expend resources on graphics

While this meshes badly with above sentiment, this does look very interesting indeed, in an otherwise kinda dull wednesday night.

Really happy to see some early interest in my game. I'll try to answer any questions you guys might have!

Strivemind, regarding currency and progress, you acquire more currency by defeating, or simply doing well against an opponent's army. The bigger the foe the more you get!

There is an optional IAP to purchase more gold, but this isn't designed to be some evil IAP-is-the-only-way-to-progress game! I'm not a fan of that model at all.

So how do you acquire new block and unit types? Do you just buy them with gold, or is there some sort of minecraft-esque collecting/digging to it?
