WHAT! Syberia is on iOS now? Fantastic. I hope it has been translated well, because this was a real classic adventure game from back in the day.

Yes it's the original one... I believe it's going to be 3 parts.

I HATE those type of games... just release the whole darn game..

If that's the case, then I'll pass... You can regularly pick up the PC version on sale for significantly less than 3X this.

Looking at the movie... I see that it was from Microids.
Did Big Fish now also take over Microids ?

I'm really annoyed that Bigfish is releasing the chopped up version of the game for iOS (they sell the full version on their site for $6.99 for game club members). I picked up Syberia I and II on Steam for $2.50 each last year, and GOG sometimes sells the games for $4.99.

I won't touch the butchered version, but I understand that changes have been made to the original.

As for BFG taking over Microids, just a reminder that Bigfish is only a game portal - most games they release are developed by other game studios.

Microids was purchased by Anuman Interactive (Dracula, Amerzon, Return to Mysterious Island, etc. as well as the dreadful HdO games), which is responsible for the money grab on classic adventure games by chopping them into parts.

Personally, I only buy full versions of adventure games.

I have to agree game classic like this to be so butchered is just no right. There are even ads in game menu , just sad to see a game I read much about in magazines at my younger age and played at some PC fair get treatment like this.Don't remember it good as I didn't play it much back then, but it was quite popular.

If this was the full game, I'd buy it, buy I'm not buying a butchered game.
Also I rather dislike 'big fish' anyway, rip off merchants.

Pity to spoil such a classic.
