I've played both extensively, and this is much better IMO. But, both games are pretty good.

I call dibs!

I was really looking forward to a new, unique iOS title like this.

Hi, you seemed to be lost on the Internets.
This is TouchArcade, where 2$ for a game is too much, 5$ is an outrage, and 10$ or more is putting sugar in their car tanks whilst killing puppies.

Good to hear! Mostly I was just worried about WHQ's text and UI being too cramped on my phone, though.

Can you post some more detailed impressions or is there an NDA restricting you from talking about it?

Is the story any good? Is it optimized/smooth in terms of framerate? Are the touch controls decent?

If you could answer those that would be great

Havent gone far into the story yet, but it doesnt feel generic. Game is butter smooth on my ipad mini. Touch controls are good.

Let's just say, my first impression when i loaded up the game was... "WOAH CRISIS CORE"

I've got a meeting in a few, so imma keep it at that. All i can say is that the game is really good, and totally worth the asking price, even more.
