looks polished
can you listen to your own music in game?
I'd like to see a video of the gameplay
to see how the controls function

Back in my Palm days Billiards was a game I played a lot. A top view pool with several options, statistics (winnings/losses) and smooth animations.

Due the fact that I'm kind of missing Billiards I decided to purchase MicroPool.

Although it has good graphics, sounds, ball pocket animation, adjustable AI, 3 table colors and resume feature it is not as polished as I was expecting:

- If there are more than 2 balls rolling the animation is not smooth as silk (it's playable though)
- After playing you have to wait the play to finish (tap after a shot could accelerate things)
- You set the spin in a tiny ball which is tricky; it'd be nice to tap the ball and set the spin in a bigger one
- You can't control angle
- There's no replay
- There's no statistics such as winnings/losses which decreases the replay value (you play and you win or lose and that's all)
- It does not have background music
- It does not support iPOD music
- The interface (menu buttons) is a bit rough, not polished

The list with not so good things is big, I know. Even though I think this game has a nice potential. It appeals for casual gamers that do not want a 3D view or really tiny balls to play with.

Urgent: better frame rate and statistics for even a 4/5

Right now: 2/5

For me too.

The top view using most of the screen is really nice to play with.

Every time I play a 9-Ball game I ended up liking MicroPool more.
