Plays really well, just unlocked it for 69p.

Different types of blocks, some other slight differences so its not a straight clone. If you're a tetris fan obviously you should like this. Nice little game

Ea tetris sucks but this is a great game! I hope EA will stay away from it. By the way it would be awesome if there will be game mode with original tetris pieces

It's a good game, with some issues.

Pros:

Cool music
Cool interface
Nice controls

Cons:

Can't see what shape is coming next
The + shape always messes me up, mostly because I can't find anywhere to put it.

Hi I'm the game developer, and to be honest I didn't expect anyone talking about my game since it's something I do casually and I didn't put in any marketing effort so i'm dead happy with the review from the frontpage

I'm glad about the good comments about the controls (at least in the review) that's the point why I made this app because I hate touch controls and Tetris Blitz seems a bit dumbed down, whereas the original game required skill and reflexes moving the pieces along

Obviously to tackle the nostalagia factor without infringing on any patent or trademark I avoided tetris patents and based the game on the original pentomino + 2 bit looks:

- pieces shape, i'm using the ones from the original game pentomino, just the ones that seem suitable for this type of game
- No preview windows because that's patented, but the extra difficulty of not knowing the next piece by its looks or preview windows seemed interesting
- I added different features to the gameplay to make it more different
- other stuff

It might be a bit harder than the original but hey, the old skool games weren't any easier!! and for the gamecenter ranks I though it would be nice to have a slightly trickier gameplay

I like the game very much.
I like a good challenge and this game provides that

I had no idea that the preview window was copyrighted lol

I will give it 5 stars and buy the full version

I'm really glad you posted.

Good luck with the game
