Sky Scramble: a sliding Puzzle to Think visually [Free | Universal]

Download Sky Scramble for FREE from the App Store.

BertoGames is proud to present its inaugural app: Sky Scramble. It has 198 levels (90 are free). Each level shows a constellation of moveable stars. The goal of the game is to move the smallest star to a specific place. The challenge is in finding the right path while the constellation shifts with each move the player makes. The stars, the constellation, the nebula background, the sound effects, and the music, all share a common theme: the cosmos. It's not about speed, it is not about explosions, it is about thinking visually in a relaxing environment.

Sky Scramble is a sliding puzzle with a classic flavor that...
  • engages people of all ages
  • integrates all menu options in a single screen
  • composes music with your moves
  • reproduces your best solutions and music compositions
  • challenges you to find the optimal solutions
  • has Game Center
  • offers hints using IAP
  • is ad-supported

4/5 - "This is a unique and enjoyable puzzle game that provides enough of a challenge to keep players coming back for more, but enough of a visual experience to provide a therapeutic distraction from the basic game mechanic. It has achieved the wonderful balance of being both relaxing and challenging throughout each of its 90 free levels (198 after an optional in-app purchase). For astronomy fans in particular, this should be the new puzzle game of choice." Lee Hamlet of 148Apps

7/10 - "Games like Temple Run and Candy Crush come into our lives and are gone just as fast. I think I've found a game that might just give all of them a run for their money and actually stick around. The game is Sky Scramble." Raven Hathcock of GameSkinny

4/5 - "Sky Scramble is the only puzzle game I’ve encountered which doesn’t much rely on spatial, linguistic, or arithmetic reasoning, which makes it interesting both for fans of puzzles and for those who generally avoid the genre because of the limited variety of abilities in use." Kelsey Rinella on PocketTactics

Looks nice but... if 90 are free what is the price of the rest of the levels. Does it work with In-App-Purchase?

There is no fixed price to unlock the rest of the levels, it is a variable system that I will explain by quoting Kelsey Rinella (he did very good at it) with liberty.

On each puzzle of the 198, you get up to three stars depending on how many moves you use to solve it. Clusters of 18 puzzles unlock together at certain total number of stars. So for example,
  • the second screen (or B-cluster) unlocks when you collect 25 stars,
  • the third with 65 stars,
  • the fourth with 125 stars,
  • fifth with 200,
  • and the sixth with 275 and so on..
There is no way to unlock the sixth screen by collecting stars because in the five previous screens you can only collect 5x18x3=270 (5 screens, 18 levels per screen, and three stars max per level). So to go beyond, you have to purchase stars that add up to the ones you earned. The IAP is $.99 for 100 stars or $1.99 for 250 stars.

The last cluster requires 640 stars to unlock, with a maximum of 540 stars available on all prior levels, so if you're completely confident in your ability to three-star every level, you could get everything for a buck, but you have to commit to that before you actually get a chance to do it. So, if it were me, I'd go for the $2 option and not feel quite so pressured to do everything quickly.

Hope this helps.

Apart from that... we did receive a new and very positive review from 148Apps.
