The "controls like Angry Birds" bit kinda puts me off. If it's literally just flinging your character then i'm out.

Really like the look of the graphics, the promo video is a bit offputting as theres tons of bits in slow motion. Just want to see how it plays

But yeah the controls put me right off, thought it was more a traditional beat em up but if its weird Angry Bird controls, nah

I mean to be fair to the devs they've tried something original, just not for me

You know, I watched the trailer in the first post and didn't think much of the game, but the video above...dude, that works. Any IAPs?

I imagine this is more like Squids, and that game was actually pretty solid. Turn it into a fighting game and it seems Magic Cube is on to something good here, based on the video.

Launch sale for a buck, btw. Bought. Probably won't post impressions for a while.

Really? They dropped to a buck already?

I guess i'll get it at that price without having to worry about it being a fighting game.

Watched the vid above for a few seconds *bought. Impressions soon starting it up now.

Edit:
Well what a surprise how has nobody done this before now?
It's turn based fighting
You choose you character 10 to choose from,
during the match/fight you can choose one of four moves that are along the top of the screen and then you drag from your character (like angry birds slingshot style or fingershot rpg) to aim your move, But its not as simple as that as each move has a degree/angle it can be fired in, for instance a uppercut cannot be fired sideways and a flying kick can't be fired straight up.
also each move has a pause before it launches and then its animation for moving then attacking, some moves like the uppercut activated right away while the flying kick has a moving sideways animation before going into the kick move so its all about launching the right move at the right time, and obvious each move has a certain distance it can go, you can't go flying across the entire screen in one move.
I've only tried two of the characters but they both have totally different fighting styles and moves so I'm pret sure that each of the ten fighters are going to be different.
There's both an arcade mode and a story mode from the main menu too (I've only tried the arcade mode so far)
For 69p this is great IMO its worth picking up as I haven't came across another game like it.

Well that's just my early impressions but for 69p launch price if your interested grab it while its on sale.
