I wouldn't really call it abandoned, more like complete. There's nothing really that can be done with the games it's exactly what it should be and how it was in the arcades. If you have memories of playing it then you would have probably already bought it. If not then I'm not sure how fun it will be (its an old old arcade game and plays like it. )
I love it though

Would've been complete if it was optimised for iPhone 5/iPod 5th gen. Trouble is, games look terrible on the taller screen if they're only short versions. But i guess its complete for you

I think is a direct port from the arcade ROM, with the background art assets expanded.

This is a great game, the granddaddy of fighting games. The dual stick control system is awesome, this game ports to iOS very well.

Also check out the game Zanshin if you like Karate Champ. It is a "remake" with better graphics and smoother animation. Also, it has an easy mode where you just use the d-pad and tap the screen for a context based move depending on your position in relation to your opponent.

I played the game like crazy from our school's library. I was terrible at it, but this + Oregon Trail were the games I rocked hard, and having them both on iOS is pretty fantastic, though I'm happy with the Organ Trail's homage, which is better than the fancied up version that included IAP (ugh that still makes me sick to think about it)
