Apocalyptic catastrophes have practically destroyed modern civilization, and humanity hangs on the brink of extinction. The surviving humans have been scarred and mutated by decades of war, driven only by the burning fury of their painful existence they call daily life. The only things uniting these struggling societies are The Fights. Popular in the remnant communities, these bloody battles serve as society's brutal entertainment. The rules in The Fights are simple: do whatever it takes to make it out alive!

The era of the Rage Warriors has begun:

FIGHTING GAME ACTION
In the style of classic arcade fighting games, Rage Warriors pits contenders against one another in a button-pounding battle of kicks, punches, blocks, parries and specials!

STUNNING 3D GRAPHICS
Gritty, stylized visuals depict the bloody struggle of each gory battle.

BUILD YOUR COMBOS
Choose your own fighting style with customizable combinations. Nail the timing for debilitating attacks using your unique move set.

WIELD OVER 30 WEAPONS

idk. Sounds like button based combat and combos, which would in fact be a breath of fresh air from all the IB clones

I'll check this out later. Right now After Earth is one of my favorite runners which is from the same devs. They also made Real Steel and Pacific Rim which are pretty decent, despite the latter being an almost direct clone. I find the Total Recall onrails shooter was pretty good too.

So far, games from Reliance Big Entertainment arent the best, but each one is at least pretty decent and worth a bit of game time.

According to the description, this is more of an arcade fighting game a la Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat, only with customisable move sets.

Yup. Especially since the update.

You can use touch now ala Verticus to control the jump sequences instead of tilt. Tilt's still active though, so as long as you arent moving too much, you can control with just touch.

It's got a level based mode, and endless modes. It's got boss fights (kinda like TMNT Rooftop Run's sequence battles where you follow swipes and taps to execute onrails attack and defensive moves). There's also sequences where it becomes a side-scroller, with a Drone battle where you have to roll forward or backward while jumping and sliding to avoid his attacks. Also, some sequences will have you on a hover-scooter, where it moves faster than the usual running, but there arent any jumps involved, only lane-switches.

Probably the runner game with the most variations involved in it.

The upgrade costs arent so bad either, because the upgrades involved arent actually necessary to complete the story missions. They help, but they arent necessary. They will matter more when you decide on playing endless mode, coz that's where the upgrades will matter most.

Currently one of my favorite runners

So im really looking forward to Rage Warriors.

Yeah... Actually the custom combo system reminds me of the recently released Kung Fu Quest, which was a pretty solid game.
