Caterzillar - 2D gravity platformer - WIP

Hi! Here's an early work in progress video of the next game from PixelZapp!

Caterzillar a 2D gravity defying platformer.

It's still in development - so no finished art, sound or music yet.

The game will be universal and currently runs smoothly at 60fps on an iPad1 (any slowdown in the video is due to the capture process).

I'm keen for any feedback or impressions and soon I'll be ready for testers!
I'll be releasing beta versions through TestFlight - if you'd like to give Caterzillar a try send me a PM.

Like the art style, but seems kind of reminiscent of They Need To Be Fed 1/2.

Is this meant to be more of a causal platformer or high difficulty/ precision platformer?

I've played and loved 'They Need to Be Fed' and loved it - but Caterzillar has more of an exploration side and is closer to Soosiz or Rolando.

It's pitched as a casual platformer - but I'll be ramping up the difficulty as you progress.
I'm thinking of some trial levels & possibly some higher precision levels to add into the mix - but I'd do these as bonus levels rather then being on the main pathway through the game.
