App description: Its everyones favourite MMO reimagined as a 1980s LCD games console!

Complete quests! Fight the boss! Level up! Complete more quests! Fight the boss again! Did we mention that you level up?

Game of Watchcraft is the new gaming sensation sweeping the nation. Gamers are losing hours, weeks, spouses and careers, enthralled by its deep world, immersive graphics and repetitive action.

Can you survive its addictive appeal?
"Theres no denying that Game of Watchcraft: Spawn of Squishy is a very clever idea." - 148apps

"If youre old enough to remember the Game & Watch line or just a fan of retro hipster stuff in general, youre bound to find Game of Watchcraft delightful." - Gamezebo

"One of the more interesting takes on a mobile game that weve seen in quite some time." - Den of Geek

"The various bleeps and blips -- of shooting energy bolts, hitting the boss, and even regenerating mana -- all culminate in a catchy, unique melody of sound." - Touch Arcade

"Whether you have a serious love for this subset of gaming's past or just want a simple retro-style game to pass the time, there's a lot to love" - Game Informer

Old meets new in an epic reimagining of modern day gaming filtered through the limitations of decades old hardware.

Take on the role of Squishy, a priest with a never-ending mission to collect stuff, kill innocent goblins and fight creatures substantially bigger than him.

Four enemy types! Four quests! Ten colours! Thats double-digit colours people!

Almost a whole octave of tones were used in composing this compelling soundtrack. Youll believe youre really in a fantastical world.

A silky smooth virtual d-pad like youve never seen before.

Game Center Leaderboards and Achievements.

No seriously, its really quite good!

This game is a lot of fun with simple controls, quests, leveling up, and treasures to collect to enhance your character. Simple fun that keeps you coming back for more.

I must admit, it looks kinda cool. What turns me off though is the likelihood that there's only a few positions the characters can be, similar to the old G&W, which I still have a few of lying around. Popeye anyone?

Played for a few minutes before turning in.

It's a great concept, both it's both fun and frustrating at the same time. It's got a great nostalgia factor, but the d-pad is quite finicky. There were many times when I had to hit the button multiple times to try and move, which led to premature death on more than one occasion. Getting near the treasure chests and hitting the action button didn't seem to do anything but move the chest s to another location on the map (unless I'm doing something wrong...).

I'll play some more in the coming days and see if the problem is lack of experience on my part, or if sensitivity should be adjusted in an update.

I'd love to hear more impression !

I was a beta tester on this so I've played it a lot and even after all the testing I still go back to it, easily my favourite LCD style game on iOS,

Love this. Reminds me of certain multi-screen LCD games I used to play.

Only problem is, the "dpad" is sometimes not very responsive. I tried sliding my thumb on that dpad vs punching it like a button, still not great.
