In this game, you can be a hero, get weapons, choose traps, place these on the floor, the ceiling, the walls, the stairs, the bridge and so on. You can create a 3D combination defense. The most important thing is to safeguard the Magic Portal. You have to make sure the magical instrument is not seized by the devil. You can pay to buy a hamburger and get 10 minutes of taste pleasure or you can buy the full version of Magic Guard to get a few days of gaming pleasure! If our developers have enough budget we will continue to add subsequent game content. Full version users will have free access to this subsequent content. This game has no IAP and very little advertising. Support us and lets change the world now! Apologies for the initial localization errors, the first amateur localization vendor we used used an automatic translating system and cheated us. Warning: This game app runs better on iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 and iPod touch (5th generation)! The game app has a poorer performance on iPhone 4 and iPod touch (4th generation). We have therefore limited the number of enemies that can appear at the same time for smoother running on these devices. Unfortunately this makes the game too easy for some users on these devices. My ipad's full at the moment and i dont weant to delete anything just to test out a game. usernam3 New Member Aug 20, 2013 1 0 0 #3 usernam3, Aug 23, 2013 I just downloaded it and didn't like it. The pictures are misleading. I thought it was one where you can roam around freely like skyrim. But it's just a 3d castle defense type game. nkarafo Well-Known Member Mar 2, 2011 860 9 18 #4 nkarafo, Aug 23, 2013 Same here. iPhone and iPad are full. Soooo many games!! Any other opinion about this game? Fallen_Grace Well-Known Member Aug 15, 2012 239 0 0 #5 Fallen_Grace, Aug 23, 2013 Even though I'd have better things to do,with Splinter Cell and Saints Row calling,I've downloaded this just to see if my hunch was correct, and it was. This is basically a cheap ripoff of the pc/xbox game Orcs must die, same idea, the idea is the same, just slightly retextured, the hero is similar and with the same style of clothes, same weapons (you start with the same crossbow as the original game),same guardians (archer and paladin),same traps but with slightly different textures and names, judge for yourself looking at the original game screenshots, same ui layout, same map with blue numbers, traps etc... Just judge yourselves while looking at screenshot 5. As if it wasn't enough, the game is horrible, nothing like the one it copies, low res graphics, repetitive sounds, clunky interface, bad english translation. Stay away and don't waste time and device space,I,for one, will report it to the original developers. Or, this game, atmleast. I never played Orcs must Die! But it sounds like a ripoff of a (IIRC) Techmo Koei game series for the PS1. midian3x Member Apr 13, 2013 22 0 0 #8 midian3x, Aug 24, 2013 Orcs Must Die! Is a fantastic game. If you like it you should give Magic Guard a try, especially for free. mrbiggles Well-Known Member Jul 3, 2012 3,691 0 0 Like retired USA #9 mrbiggles, Aug 24, 2013 gameplay vid Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel undeadcow Well-Known Member Dec 4, 2010 9,493 2 36 Houston, TX #10 undeadcow, Aug 24, 2013 Magic Guard is free and people can't even be bothered to download? I've had it wishlisted since release and think it looks very promising. I remember the developer being pretty humble and open in the game's thread at that time. Besides, so much of iOS gaming is comprised of clones it's hard to be dismissive on that basis alone. repapermunky Well-Known Member Aug 29, 2012 624 0 0 #11 repapermunky, Aug 24, 2013 Considering OMD won't be coming to ios relatively soon (meaning years) if at all, I don't care and I got this one back when it first came out and was 99c. I liked that, and I didn't mind this too much.
