Wonder what the catch is for being free. IAP unlock? This does look good for a HdO.

Based on the description I'd say it's one of those games where you have to use up energy to explore the different rooms, and once the energy is gone you have to wait 2 or 3 hours to play again... unless, of course, you shell out some IAP. But that's just a guess.

Really do not like these types of games. I like to be able to play when I want to, not when the game lets me

Urgh. Timers are the worst. I hope it isnt the case here, but i do see the timer-looking thingies in the screenshots.

Think you need to be online as well.
That's usually with these type of H&O games.

Exactly!

I would rather have to buy countless HOGs at a premium than to pay to play.

I don't play in tiny spurts, I like to play in a longer go during my gaming sessions. Games like this and the Facebook Disney HOG ruin all of the fun, as it forces us to always be on the lookout for when we run out of "energy" and makes it unbearably uncomfortable trying to deal with all of the endless IAPs from top to bottom

This game is timer-based and heavily focused on IAP. I played for about fifteen minutes, ran out of energy, and waited for the requisite timer to give me more energy and was awarded with 1 piece of energy. Each countdown takes around 2.5 minutes, with a max energy of 70 (currently). The only way to refill your energy quicker is to use sodas, which cost diamonds to buy. Diamonds are pretty expensive.

I'm not playing this game anymore. It's a great concept (you level-up, do side-quests, and can veer from the main storyline in many cool ways), but I don't think I'm willing to play a game for ten minutes a day and then have to wait 3 hours to be able to play again. If that's your cup of tea though, you can play through around three or four rooms and then you'll have to wait a few hours before you can play another three or four rooms. Either that, or dish out the cash.
