I only have a 4S, but i want a 4-inch update for Ark of Sinners in case i update to the next iphone.

Personally, i think it's a solid contender for the best metroidvania game alongside Swordigo that we have available for iOS now, but the lack of 4-inch support on a platformer game has been proven to be a hassle to play with the dead area around the playscreen.

All these games are not playable on the iPhone 5 or are black bars which account for a lesser experience ?

The Quest supports iPhone 5. I just started playing that game today and I'm really enjoying it so far.

All the old Gameloft games, and maybe the CoD:Zombies games. There's tons more, but those are the ones I'd most want.

The Quest has widescreen support now. Still no retina though.

They work on iPhone 5, but don't support the widescreen format. So black bars which makes a less fun experience.
