Am I correct to assume this will not support iPod 4?

In the description it says:

What's New in Version 1.68
** Incredipede DOES NOT RUN on the iPod Touch 4, sorry! **

Hey, at least it didn't go free! Personally, I'm happy to support the dev for less than I would've paid for this on Steam. I was just about to press the buy button there when this showed up on iOS. I always figured it would make fantastic use of the iPad screen, and it definitely does (especially now that they've fixed the crashing issues).

I love this game but are you kidding me? It's not an introductory sale for people who bought the game for $3.99 three days ago! On one hand, this game deserves more attention that it's getting, but doing a "launch" price right after it was already out at a higher price is just not fair to us early adopters

I could have saved those 2 bucks for Monster Adventures

I've gotten to the point where getting pissed off about early sales isn't an issue for me anymore (because it happens time and time again), but yeah...saying this is a launch sale is a joke. It's not.

Anyways, this is the part where I pull out "The Book of Gabrien" and advise people not to buy this right now, because it'll probably be a dollar the day after it returns to $3.99.

I agree while its a cool game it's just not a very cool move by the dev, you should do a day one sale for the early adopters if your going to do a sale so soon, because this way your just annoying the people who are fans and buy the game early.
And I'd agree with metal too, a sale so soon always smells of going free soon after so I'd avoid even buying it at sale price and just wait for the soon to be price of free.

This is getting out of control, but calling a "launch sale" is really an incredibly low blow.

Is this sale actually live yet? The UK App Store still has the launch price, as does the TA app, but the App Store description says 50% off.

EDIT: It's showing the reduced price now.
