It is already out in NZ and Australia for equivalent of US$1.99.

Maybe a soft launch?
In my understanding, soft-launches are supposed to be a sort of an open beta, in which case it should almost always be free during that time.

Maybe this is a regular launch, but the other regions will get them later in the day, but the AU makes that sound like it's not the case.

That's basically the case, yes, as noted here over on BGG.

If you're going to create a new thread for a game, please also remember to include the proper app info in your post using the relevant tags, not just an iTunes link.

Yeah, they called it a "beta". Can't wait until it comes over to the USA, as it looks pretty cool.

My bad!

I did a search and didn't see this thread. Perhaps in the future folk can start the thread with the game title before adding tags like [NZ/AU] as that clearly borked my search.

Since the thread I accidentally started actually has some good comments I figured I could just move it over to iPad so that the two threads can at least live their own separate lives.

I love this game, not super stoked by the "Trait" system, but everything else about the game is 5 stars! I love how the suit special powers combine with each tournament's special rules to make this pretty simplistic core game truly epic!

Liking the game so far. Played 19 matches and still can't beat The first opponent. Though I'm aparently terrible I am enjoying myself and each round is very thrilling. Still making progress towards gaining levels and more abilities.

This is a fantastic solo game, heaps of campaigns and a level up system that unlocks cards (suits) abilities as you go. Hope it gets a lot more interest and exposure cause it really is a cool little game.
