How are the IAPs?

IAP's, as with their other game CSR Racing are horrific and mercenary. Steer well, well, well clear of this money grubbing monstrosity.

Downloading now. It looks beautiful. I loved CSR Racing, but it took a backseat to Racing Rivals. We'll see how this stands up to RR.

Same here. The IAPs WERE crazy expensive and the timers sucked, but I never felt the need to buy anything.

Yes. And why would you endorse this garbage ware by infesting your device with another graphical showcase that pretty much attempts to bilk you of money at every possible turn. By downloading this junk we, the consumer are essentially endorsing this kind of thing, when we should be asking for better. There's plenty of -games- available, y'know?

And before anyone points out the irony of real racing 3 being in my sig, a key point about real racing 3 is that racing with one car doesn't lock you out of all the others, and I know this will come as a shock, but there's actually a game present in there. Here you have a set of timers constantly egging you to spend money. It's hideous.

I totally agree with you on every point. That being said, I still downloaded it because I did like the first one. This is pretty much more of the same. Graphically, it's beautiful. I still can't believe I'm playing something that looks this nice on an iPod. As far as the timers and IAPs, they are all the same here. If anybody liked the first CSR, this is definitely worth the try. It's a little better IMO. It's the same "race your way up the ranks" story mode with Boss Races at the end of each tier. Sadly, no multiplayer. After playing Racing Rivals, I was hoping there would be multiplayer.
