So that "3D effect" is similar to what the room did if i understand it correctly. To solve puzzles you need to have the right angle on the 3d object that you're viewing. Of course 3D could also refer to that Super Mario Galaxy-like feeling of being on a planet but that's a far cry from the immersion of Glasses-Free 3D...

Stereoscopic 3D isn't possible on iOS, so I'm assuming they are using visual trickery and making claims that aren't exactly true.

Stereoscopic 3D is possible on iOS but glasses are needed. Ground effect was updated with a mode like that a while back.

For some reason I really want this. It's kinda been done before with They Need To Be Fed I think it was, but this looks really cool.

If glasses are required it isn't considered "stereoscopic", right?

I had the LG Thrill Stereoscopic 3D phone, and they defined "Stereoscopic 3D" as 3D without glasses.
The 3DS is also stereoscopic, I believe.

(Btw - the LG Thrill pulled off 3D surprisingly well).
