Yup and there was an earlier version of the game with a different publisher called Flying Daggers that came out last year: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=151156

This game has a few rough edges. It gets better and better the further you make it in.
A few parts are frustrating, I found it well worth it to fight passed them.
This ranks up there with Apocalypse Max as the best iOS (not ports) sidescrollers.
It seems almost arena based at first. Develops into longer levels later.
The controls are a great improvement over the original.

Edit: Out of curiosity, why is this double the size of Flying Daggers?

Second Edit: forget everything good I said about this. Just played the first level in this version... Got 12 coins. Went back and played the original... Just over 3000. There is NO way to upgrade anything for your character without buying coins with cash. Avoid this like it had leprosy. It would take the whole game to upgrade a weapon. Once. In the previous version you could max out your character.
Basically, Reanix has ruined a game that had a lot of potential. Thanks, Reanix.
