Solid article on iOS/App Store difficulties

Does the app store marketplace drive good devs away?

Good read. There are so many factors at play - it's a bit like playing the lottery. Revenue from mobile games is increasing significantly every year but the number of developers is also growing rapidly. There is a bigger pie but more people trying to get a slice.

Jeff Vogel weighed in on this today too. He's of the opinion that the indie dev bubble is popping.

Interesting read too (thanks for the link!) - and i agree also. I myself am not helping since i jumped onto the bandwagon and believe there will be an indie bubble... especially on the iOS platform. I suspect i may/will have to expand my platform base and not just focus on iOS.

Cheers,
