You need to do a tutorial, that guides your fingers when building the first few vehicles. Also the parts shoul snap together, and there shoul be a clear visual indication that they are connected. I mean constructing the cart should be way more easier for people to actually play the game. How about a feature like the mechanic in Bad Piggies? Just click and a cart is assembled for you.

I mean I actually wanted to play it, because it's a good idea, but just couldn't build a cart that lasted until the end of the first level. People need to have success to get engaged. I'm learning this the hard way as well.
